The Jackson County Democratic Committee will host a Meet the Candidates fundraising brunch March 10, 2018, offering voters a chance to speak with Democratic candidates running for state and congressional offices in the 2018 election.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the event will begin at 10 a.m. March 10, at 1300 Falahee Rd. in Michigan Center. Attendees should park and use the entrance on the north end of the building.
There is a donation of $25 per person, which can be paid at the door, mailed or delivered to the JCDC office, 757 W. Franklin, Jackson, MI, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays, or online via ActBlue at bit.ly/jcdcbrunch18.

All revenue collected at the door will be used by the Jackson County Democratic Committee to help elect Democratic candidates, at all levels, in the current election cycle. Candidates who attend may separately solicit funds or volunteers for their campaigns.

Voters will select the Democratic nominees for governor, U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, state House and Senate, and local offices during the Aug. 7 primary election.
Nominees for attorney general, secretary of state, state education and university boards, and the state Supreme Court will be formally selected at the Michigan Democratic Party’s nominating convention this summer.
The state party will endorse candidates for attorney general, secretary of state and Supreme Court at a convention April 15 at Cobo Center in Detroit.
